Ukraine is in the final: what do you need to know?
Based on the results of the semi-final performances, Ukraine confidently advanced to the final stage and became the first country in the history of the competition to never be eliminated in the semi-finals.
And in 2022, the Ukrainian band Kalush won the contest with their song "Stefania", scoring a record number of points in the history of Eurovision. Thus, Ukraine is one of the few countries that is always ready to fight for victory.
This year, Ukraine will perform as the second seed in the final stage.
Ukraine has risen in bookmakers' forecasts
After the second semi-final, bookmakers changed their views on the potential winner.
Thus, forecasters continue to predict the first place to go to Baby Lasagna from Croatia. The second place is still occupied by Nemo from Switzerland. Ukraine moved up to third place. Ireland's Bambie Thug rounds out the top 4.
As you know, you can only vote for your country if you are not on its territory. That is, if you are in Ukraine and vote for the Ukrainian duo, your vote will not be counted. At the same time, people who are in one of the countries whose representatives are participating in the contest can vote for Ukraine.
