In Ukraine, it is now possible to obtain a military registration document with a QR code at an Administrative Service Center (ASC) in just 15 minutes. Find out how it works and what benefits the new service offers.

How to get a military registration document with a QR code

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine informs that from now on, Ukrainians can issue a military registration document with a QR code not only through the Reserve+ application and TRC and SS, but also at the ASC.

Please note! The validity of the military registration document is checked using a QR code. If the data does not match the data in the register, the document is considered invalid.

The procedure for obtaining a document at the ASC is free of charge and takes no more than 15 minutes, provided that the person has previously updated his or her military registration data.

Procedure for registration and verification

The document is generated if the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists (USRPVR) contains all the necessary information about the person.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the administrator of the ASC can send a PDF file of the generated military registration document by e-mail or print it immediately.

As a reminder, a digital military registration document has been equated in legal force to a paper document. So everyone can choose a convenient option for themselves.

The procedure is as follows:

1. A person liable for military service applies to the ASC

2. Provides up-to-date information about himself/herself

3. The administrator enters the data into the electronic system

4. Information is automatically pulled up in Oberig

5. The applicant receives a military registration document with a QR code

If a person has previously received an extract with a stamp and signature to clarify the data, he or she can apply to the ASC again and receive a new document with a QR code.

The military registration document contains:

– Personal data of the applicant

– A separate record number in the Unified State Register of Military Records

– Information from the military medical commission (MMC)

– Military rank and specialty

– Information on military registration

– Validity period and method of obtaining

The document is valid for one year from the date of formation. You can print it out yourself using the Reserve+ application or contact the administrator of the ASC or Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC).

We remind you! The official application from the Ministry of Defense Reserve+ became available on May 18. This service allows you to update your military registration data without a personal visit to the TRC or ASC and has a number of other useful additional features. Read how to update your data through the app, what the statuses mean, and what to do if you are "wanted" after updating your data in this article.
