The shelling of energy infrastructure in Ukraine is causing significant delays in a number of trains. “Ukrzaliznytsia reports many hours of delays on key routes, which significantly affect passenger travel. Power engineers worked all night to repair the damage, but the effects of the shelling will continue to affect the schedule for some time.

The biggest delays in Ukrzaliznytsia trains


Train delays of more than 5 hours are observed on several important routes. As of the morning of August 27, the following trains have the longest delays:

– 120 Dorohusk - Dnipro: +7 hours 46 minutes

– 64 Lviv - Kharkiv: +7 hours 44 minutes

– 6 Yasinia - Zaporizhzhia: +5 hours and 24 minutes

– 95 Kyiv - Rakhiv: +5 hours 23 minutes

– 18 Uzhhorod - Kharkiv: +5 hours 6 minutes

– 7 Kyiv - Chernivtsi: +5 hours 3 minutes

Return flights with deviations from the schedule


The above delays will also lead to changes in the schedule of return flights departing from their original stations today. The delay is expected to be at least an hour. This primarily affects trains:

– 17 Kharkiv - Uzhhorod

– 93 Kharkiv - Helm

– 120 Dorohusk - Dnipro

Warning for passengers


“Ukrzaliznytsia" asks passengers to listen carefully to announcements at railway stations, as the exact time of departure of delayed trains will be announced by an announcer. All trains that are running late are being accelerated to minimize further delays.

Technical services continue to work to restore the stability of railway traffic, and the company is doing everything possible to ensure a comfortable journey even in difficult conditions.
