How many EU citizens have entered Ukraine since the beginning of 2024?

In total, 497,847 EU citizens visited Ukraine in the first half of 2024. It should be noted that this is 41.89% of the total number of foreigners who have entered Ukraine since the beginning of 2024.

Interestingly, the number of Moldovan citizens who visited Ukraine exceeds the total number of EU citizens and amounts to 519,906, which is 43.75% of the total number of foreigners. Thus, EU and Moldovan citizens accounted for 85.64% of all foreign visitors to Ukraine in the first half of 2024. However, it is worth noting that countries such as the United States, Israel, and Turkey are among the top 10 countries in terms of visits to Ukraine.

For reference: in 2023, the situation was similar: out of almost 2.5 million foreign nationals who entered the country during the year, just over one million were Moldovan citizens.
