Where is the best place to get a car serviced in Ukraine?

In Ukraine, there are both official dealerships of certain car brands, as well as independent services and small private service stations that provide car maintenance. Official services usually have higher prices due to the use of original spare parts and certified equipment. Independent service stations may offer more affordable options, but the quality of parts and service may vary. In megacities such as Kyiv, Lviv, or Odesa, prices for maintenance can be 20-30% higher than in smaller cities due to higher rental and utility costs and the level of salaries of service station employees.

Visit Ukraine has calculated the estimated monthly cost of a middle-class car in Ukraine, taking into account the price of maintenance, fuel, washing, parking, and minor repairs, and came up with a figure of UAH 3000 to 12000 ($73-293) per month, depending on the car class, geography of service, driving style, and operating conditions.

Please note! Many spare parts and materials for car repairs are imported, so fluctuations in the dollar or euro directly affect the cost of car maintenance. When the currency rate rises, the cost of repairs also increases.

Remember. In Ukrainian cities, you can rent a car without any problems, which is an extremely convenient solution for tourists and foreigners who come to Ukraine on business without their own car.
