Starting from 7 October, tariffs for passport and migration services provided at the offices of the state enterprise ‘Document’ have changed in Ukraine.

Updated tariffs for document processing

The agency explained the increase in tariffs by economic changes and rising costs of administrative services.

The new rates are as follows:

Issuance of passports for Ukrainian citizens - UAH 650. This includes the issuance of both internal and international passports.

Issuance of migration documents for foreign citizens and stateless persons - UAH 1,250. This category includes a residence permit and other documents confirming the legality of staying in Ukraine.

Exchange of a driver's licence - UAH 950. This includes both replacing a licence due to changes in personal data or expiry date, and restoring a lost document.

Exchange of a vehicle registration certificate - UAH 950. This service is required when changing the owner of a vehicle, registering a new car, or changing information about the owner.

Apostille affixing - UAH 650. This process is important for legalising documents abroad and is widely used by Ukrainian citizens.

Delivery of documents abroad has become cheaper

Starting from September this year, Ukrainians can order documents abroad at a lower price than before.

On 1 August, the government signed a memorandum with Ukrposhta. As part of the agreement, the postal operator was to determine the optimal logistical and cost-effective routes for mail delivery.

Thanks to the new service, Ukrainians will be able to order the delivery of passports to Ukrainian diplomatic missions in their countries of residence at a fixed price. It is known that the single price of delivery to any country in the world will be only USD 6 and UAH 10 VAT, which is significantly cheaper compared to commercial services.

We remind you! Currently, the provision of consular services for Ukrainian men of military age in Europe is limited. Read here what to do if your passport has expired and what services are not available with an expired document.
