A new program of financial assistance to Ukrainians in Poland has been launched

Help our volunteers who support Ukraine and all foreigners in the country 24/7
HELP

Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe is a German charitable organization that supports the victims by providing humanitarian aid.

To show solidarity with Ukrainians who went to Poland during the war, the Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) has launched a financial assistance program. Those who apply for the payment will receive PLN 700 per person and PLN 600 for each other family member per month. Payment will be made for at least three months.

Because there are so many people who would like to apply for support, DKH prioritizes the neediest. Please note that registration for the program does not guarantee payment.

Who can get paid

You can apply for the program if you meet the following criteria:

• You and your family crossed the border into Poland after February 24;

• You and your family do not receive other financial assistance from non-governmental organizations (such as UNHCR).

If you receive payments from Polish government agencies, you can still claim help from the Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe;

• You and other members of your family do not work in Poland and have no source of income.

If you meet these criteria, pay attention to the following requirements. You are eligible for assistance if you meet at least one of the following requirements:

• You are a father or mother and are alone in Poland;

• You are over 65 years old and you are in Poland without other relatives;

• You are pregnant;

• You maintain or support two or more children;

• Your family member has special needs or a chronic or serious illness.

Required documents for registration in DKH

During a personal visit to the registration center, make sure you have a passport or other identity document and a document stating the date of crossing the border with Poland. Please note that each member of your family must come to the center in person and have the appropriate documents.
