Compensation program from the Red Cross to Ukrainians who provided shelter to IDPs

Ukrainians who host internally displaced persons for free will receive cash payments through PrivatBank.


The money is allocated by the Red Cross Society of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.


Who can receive compensation?


Ukrainians who donate housing to refugees with the status of internally displaced persons receive financial support.


What is the amount of compensation?


The allowance is UAH 14.77 per person per day, UAH 450 per person per month. You can receive funds by bank transfer through the PrivatMoney system.


How to receive the money?


1. Register your accommodation on the site and submit an application to local authorities (no later than the next day after registration). List the names and provide copies of the passports of all persons you hosted;


2. Contact the executive committee of the village, township, city council in the place where the housing is located in order to receive financial assistance;


3. If you stopped accepting migrants, provide information about this change.
