Citizens liable for military service in Ukraine can now simplify the process of passing the military medical commission (MMC) and save time by submitting a request for a referral online. To do this, just use the Reserve+ application.

Why do you need a request for a military medical commission?

The Military Medical Commission (MMC) determines a person's fitness for military service. Usually, to be referred to the MMC, you had to visit the territorial recruitment and social support centre (TSC and SS) in person and receive a paper document. Now, you can do this remotely if you want to undergo a medical examination for fitness for service yourself.

Who can submit a request online?

▪️ Persons liable for military service who need to undergo a fitness for service examination without waiting for a call-up.

▪️ If you have already received a call-up notice, everything remains the same: you must appear in person at the MCC.

How to submit a request to the Reserve+: step by step

1. Install and log in to the ‘Reserve+’ application

🔻 The application is available for download on mobile devices.

When logging in, confirm your identity according to the instructions inside the application.

2. Find the section for submitting a request for a MMC

🔻 As a rule, after authorisation, you will see the option ‘Submit a request for a BBQ’ or a similar item in the application menu.

3. Fill out the online form

🔻 Enter the necessary information about yourself and the desired medical institution (if necessary).

🔻 Make sure all the information is correct before submitting your request.

4. Receive an electronic referral and notification

🔻 After successful submission of the request, you will receive a message with the referral number, address of the medical facility and the date of registration.

🔻 The electronic referral is valid for 30 days. After this time, if you did not have time to pass the commission, you can submit a new request.

5. Pass the pre-employment examination at the appointed place

🔻 At the selected clinic or medical facility, the commission will check your health and determine your fitness for service.

What to do after passing the MMC?

1. No need to visit the MMC again.

🔻 All data is automatically transferred to the MCC through the state register ‘Oberih’.

2. Updated military registration document in ‘Reserve+’.

🔻 Upon completion of the process, you will be able to upload a scanned copy (or photo) of the updated document to the application.

Are paper referrals still available?

Yes, traditional methods of obtaining a referral are still available if:

🔻 You do not have a smartphone or access to the Reserve+ app.

🔻 You prefer paper documents and want to receive a referral to the CCC in person.

It is also important to keep in mind that summonses to undergo a TLC remain only in paper format, since electronic summonses are not provided for by the current legislation.

We remind you! Ukrainians who have previously had the status of ‘restrictedly fit’ for military service are required to undergo a second medical examination at the MEC. Failure to meet the deadlines may result in fines of up to UAH 25,500. We told you who is subject to this requirement, what the new deadlines are, and why it is important not to delay the military medical examination.
