What will EU Digital Identity Wallet give Ukraine?
In the Ministry of digital noted that this innovation will allow Ukrainians to use digital documents abroad, as well as Europeans to use their documents while in Ukraine.
‘For the first time we met with Potential consortium members to test the compatibility of electronic documents with prototypes of digital European wallets. Our developers checked how the documents work in action together with the mobile applications of the EU country,’ - said in the department.
EU Digital Identity Wallet will become an important tool in many everyday situations abroad, such as registering SIM cards, opening bank accounts and accessing documents on mobile devices.
‘Ukraine is the only state out of 20 member states that is not yet an EU member. Our experience of building a digital state is unique and important for the whole world. We work further and we are approaching the single digital market of the EU’, - summarised in the Ministry of digital.
