Scale and location
The new resort will be located in the Lviv region, near the village of Volosianka. The total area of the project will be 127 hectares, which will create a powerful infrastructure for winter recreation. Over the next 15 years, it is planned to build 25 hotels that will offer more than 5000 rooms for tourists.
Investments and project partners
The construction of the resort is estimated at at least $1.45 billion. The main investor is OKKO Group, which will provide a third of this amount with its own funds and loans. The rest will be raised from third-party investors.
The project is being implemented with the support of international experts, in particular, specialists from Austria are involved in the development of the ski infrastructure.

Infrastructure and prospects
In addition to hotels, the resort will build modern ski lifts and ski slopes of varying difficulty. This will ensure a comfortable stay for both experienced skiers and beginners. An important stage of the project is the construction of the first hotel complex, which will become the foundation for further development of the resort.
“The construction of the first hotel complex is a strategically important stage in the implementation of the integrated concept of an international year-round resort,” said Vasyl Danyliak, construction manager, at the start of the work.
New tourist routes in the Carpathians
In addition to the large-scale construction of the new resort, other tourist facilities continue to be developed in the Carpathians. For example, a new ecological route “To the Guardians of Nedei” was recently opened in the Vyzhnytsia district of Chernivtsi region. It connects the village of Myhovo and the village of Berehomet, is 4 kilometers long, and is suitable for travelers of all levels of fitness.
The route has already been checked by mountain rescuers together with employees of the Vyzhnytskyi National Nature Park. They assessed the trail's safety, difficult ascents, and the quality of markings.
The development of ski infrastructure in the Carpathians is gaining momentum. The construction of a new resort near Volosianka not only attracts significant investments but also creates new opportunities for tourists and local residents. With the opening of new routes, the Carpathians are gradually becoming even more attractive for recreation in both winter and summer.
