During the three years of full-scale war, missile attacks often targeted civilian infrastructure buildings, such as hotels, hospitals and educational institutions, rather than military targets. According to Slovo i Dilo, the terrorist country hit hotels more than 30 times. Russian propagandists claim that NATO military instructors were staying there, but in most cases they were ordinary tourists or journalists. The largest missile attacks on hotels - where and when?
8 May 2022 - the Grande Pettine hotel complex in Odesa was destroyed: no casualties.
18 September 2022 - the Kramatorsk Hotel was damaged: no casualties.
31 December 2022 - Alfavito Hotel is partially destroyed: one person was injured.
27 June 2023 - the RIA Pizza restaurant (attached to the hotel) was destroyed: 13 people were killed and 59 injured.
7 August 2023 - a strike on the Druzhba Hotel in Pokrovsk: 10 people were killed and 80 injured. The hotel was hit again in July 2024, but it was no longer in operation.
10 August 2023 - Reikartz hotel in Zaporizhzhia, where UN representatives regularly stayed, was damaged: 1 dead and 16 injured.
30 December 2023 - Kharkiv Palace Hotel was partially damaged: 2 people were injured, one of them a foreign journalist.
10 January 2024 - a rocket attack on the Park Hotel in Kharkiv: 13 people were injured, including journalists from Georgia and Turkey.
17 April 2024 - the Profspilkovy Hotel in Chernihiv is destroyed: 17 people were killed and 78 injured.
24 June 2024 - the Sapphire Hotel in Kramatorsk is destroyed: 1 killed and 8 injured - citizens of Ukraine, Germany, Latvia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
27 August 2024 - the Aurora Hotel in Kryvyi Rih was destroyed: 4 people were killed and 5 injured.
2 September 2024 - the Grand Palace Hotel in Zaporizhzhia is destroyed: 2 people were killed and 2 injured.
31 January 2025 - the Bristol Hotel in Odesa is destroyed (the hotel had been operating for over 120 years).
5 March 2025 - an attack on the Central Hotel in Kryvyi Rih: 5 people were killed and 32 injured. At the time of the attack, representatives of humanitarian missions from Ukraine, the UK and the US were in the building.
