Ukrzaliznytsia launched its own application with the feature of buying tickets
Ukrzaliznytsia has launched its own mobile application for selling tickets and informing passengers. The application is already available for download in the AppStore and Google Play Market.
In the new application, users will be able to:
• purchase tickets for all long-distance trains in Ukraine;
• return tickets;
• receive notifications about the route and the way of arrival/departure of the train;
• find the necessary route and answers to frequently asked questions about transportation;
• get access to your personal account with the preservation of flight history and passenger data for quick re-orders.
Ukrzaliznytsia is a direct seller of tickets through the application, so the cost of tickets for passengers will be as profitable as possible without any additional fees. You can pay for tickets directly in the mobile app with a digital card using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or you can enter your bank card details and save them in the app.
The next step in Ukrzaliznytsia digitalization will be the development of a new website, a single portal for on-board services and the development of online ordering for the usual railway services: transportation of a car in a carriage, services of station porters, search for lost things, booking a lounge, etc.
