Applications for "Dobry Start" financial aid for schoolchildren in Poland are accepted until November 30
On July 1, applications for financial assistance for schoolchildren began to be accepted in Poland. The "Dobry start" program is a payment in the amount of 300 zlotys, which parents of schoolchildren receive once an hour to purchase school supplies and prepare for the new school year.
The Ministry of Family and Social Policy of Poland reports that a total of 4.4 million children are entitled to assistance. About 2.6 million parents have now applied.
Applications are accepted until November 30, but it is worth noting that after submitting the application, money will be transferred to the account within one or two months.
Who is eligible for assistance?
Money under the "Dobry start" program is received by children who:
• are students of a Polish school;
• whose age is from 7 to 20 years (students with disabilities are up to 24 years old).
Money under the "Dobry start" program is paid to all schoolchildren, so a certificate of income from parents is not required. Ukrainian children studying in Poland also have the right to receive this assistance, the main thing is to have a PESEL ukr number.
How to get?
An application for payment under the "Dobry start" program is submitted by a parent, guardian or legal representative of the student. Adults can apply independently. Only an electronic application is accepted, it can be issued in three ways:
• on the [email protected] MRiPS portal
• on the PUE ZUS website
• using electronic banking
An electronic signature is required for registration. You can contact ZUS employees for advice. The status of the application will be displayed in the PUE ZUS personal account.
The money will be transferred to the bank account specified by the applicant in the application.
