When is photo verification activated in the PKO Bank Polski application?
Additional verification will not apply to all operations. The photo verification mechanism will be activated only in certain cases, in particular when the bank's automated systems:
- Detect unusual financial activity;
- Detect an increased risk of fraud;
- Notice unusual transfer parameters (amount, recipient, place of entry, etc.).
At the same time, the new verification does not replace standard methods of confirming transactions, such as SMS codes or biometric authentication, but complements them.
