Summer 2026 will be a record-breaking season for Ryanair in Croatia: the airline is launching 118 routes from seven airports and basing nine aircraft in the country. Find out which new destinations will be added and how many flights will be operated daily
Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has announced a major expansion of its presence in Croatia for the 2026 summer season. The airline plans to operate a record number of flights, which could be great news for Ukrainians looking for affordable vacation options on the Adriatic coast.
More routes and new destinations from Ryanair
According to the published summer schedule for 2026, Ryanair will operate 118 routes from Croatia, including two new flights from Dubrovnik to Budapest and Gdansk. The expansion of the route network will allow passengers to travel more conveniently between countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
The new destinations may also be of interest to Ukrainian tourists planning combined itineraries, such as combining a vacation in Croatia with a visit to Poland or Hungary.
During the summer season, Ryanair will fly from seven Croatian airports:
Dubrovnik
Zagreb
Zadar
Osijek
Rijeka
Pula
Split
During the summer, more than 850 flights will operate daily through these airports, demonstrating the unprecedented scale of the company's operations in the country.

Nine aircraft and passenger traffic growth
Ryanair will base nine aircraft at Croatian airports, which will increase total passenger traffic by approximately 5% to 4.3 million seats per season. This move underscores the strategic importance of the Croatian route for the airline.
What does this mean for Ukrainians?
For Ukrainian travelers, this opens up more opportunities for budget travel to the Adriatic Sea. Given Croatia's popularity among tourists from Ukraine, the expansion of Ryanair's route network may contribute to lower ticket prices and more connection options via Poland, Hungary, or other European countries.
Croatia traditionally attracts Ukrainians with its clean beaches, historic cities, and relatively affordable prices compared to other Mediterranean resorts. And with the new flights, it will be even easier to get there.
