"Ukrzaliznytsia has changed the schedule of train No. 54/53 between Odesa and Dnipro, making it a daily service. The decision was made to support transportation in the face of the difficult situation in the regions and power outages. The new schedule makes it easier for passengers to plan trips between the south and the center of Ukraine.
Earlier we told you that Ukrzaliznytsia is introducing dynamic pricing for premium SV and 1st class Intercity+ cars starting in April.
How will the Odesa - Dnipro train schedule be changed?
"Ukrzaliznytsia has decided to switch train No. 54/53 between Odesa and Dnipro to a daily service. The change is due to the need to ensure stable transportation between the regions during difficult weather conditions and power outages. Previously, the train did not run every day, which limited the ability to plan trips.
From now on, passengers can count on regular service without reference to specific days of the week. The train departs from Odesa daily from February 22, and from Dnipro daily from February 23. This format makes rail travel more predictable and convenient, especially in the face of the unstable situation in certain regions of the country.
In our previous article, we told you that Ukrzaliznytsia changed its train schedule due to the curfew.
What cities does the train run through and where to buy tickets?
The train route between Odesa and Dnipro covers several important transportation hubs in central Ukraine. The train passes through Voznesensk, Pomichna, Kropyvnytskyi, Znamianka, Oleksandriia, and Kamianske, which provides daily connections not only between the two major cities but also for residents of intermediate regions. This route is convenient for both long-distance travel and shorter trips within the region.
Tickets for daily services are already available for purchase in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile app, on the carrier's official website, and at railway station ticket offices. The minimum ticket price starts at UAH 199, making the route an affordable option for traveling between the south and center of Ukraine.

Other important updates from Ukrzaliznytsia
In addition to the changes in the train schedule between Odesa and Dnipro, the carrier announced several other innovations that affect passengers across the country. In particular, Ukraine has launched a project of state ordering of passenger rail transportation in the economy segment based on the European model. This means that the state will compensate the railroad for the difference between the real cost of tickets and the actual cost of transportation to keep prices affordable for passengers.
The company has also adjusted the schedules of several popular trains in the context of the curfew. In particular, the schedule of the train #21/22 Kharkiv - Lviv was adapted to include three regional centers to make the service more convenient for passengers in the regions.
Separately, Ukrzaliznytsia announced changes to the rules for ticket refunds. From now on, the amount that can be refunded to a passenger will depend on how many days before the train departure the refund is issued.
