Starting June 19, Ukrzaliznytsia is resuming convenient service between two major regional centers. The new regional express No. 854/853 will connect Dnipro and Kharkiv, allowing passengers to travel comfortably from one city to the other in just four hours. The carrier’s press office noted that this important route is returning in an updated format.




Schedule for the Dnipro–Kharkiv and Kharkiv–Dnipro trains


The regional train runs at convenient daytime hours, allowing passengers to plan their trip without having to travel at night.


🚇 Train No. 854 departs from Dnipro in the morning at 08:17 and arrives at its final stop in Kharkiv at 12:29.

🚇 The return trip, No. 853, departs from Kharkiv at 15:30 and returns to Dnipro in the evening at 19:41.


This schedule is ideal for both business trips and day trips to visit relatives. The total one-way travel time is just over four hours.

Route and Stops of the “Dnipro–Kharkiv” Train


Along its route, the updated service makes several key stops for passengers to board and disembark within the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. The train passes through the stations of Synelnykove-2, Pavlohrad-1, Lozova, Zlatopol, and Merefa. The stops are brief, which significantly reduces travel time.
