What is the process of applying for an e-entry permit to Sri Lanka?
The application process is as follows:
1. Fill out the application form on this website with your personal information such as name, position, date of birth, gender, citizenship, as well as country of birth, occupation, passport number, passport issue date, passport expiration date.
2. Provide travel details. In the questionnaire, you must answer such questions as: where have you been in the last 14 days before this trip, how long do you want to spend in Sri Lanka (you can choose 30 or 180 days), the planned date of arrival, the purpose of the visit, place of departure, airline, flight number.
3. Enter your place of residence in Sri Lanka. In the third part of the application form, you need to enter information about your accommodation in Sri Lanka.
4. After you have answered all the questions, you have the opportunity to review the information provided. Check your answers and make sure that all the information is accurate and correct.
5. Pay the application fee. You must pay the application fee online. Only Visa, Master and American Express cards are accepted for payment.
6. You will receive a confirmation that your application has been received (it takes approximately 3 business days to process your application).

What you can bring to Sri Lanka by plane:

- Pets are allowed with a permit from the local Department of Veterinary Medicine (DAPH), which must be obtained in advance. A stamp duty of LKR 5 and a customs fee of LKR 250 are charged for each pet. Pets must be accompanied by an internationally recognized veterinary certificate and a rabies vaccination certificate.
