Visa to the UK for Ukrainians
If you are a citizen of Ukraine and plan to travel to the UK in 2024, you should obtain a standard visitor visa in advance.
How to apply for and obtain a standard visitor visa to the UK?
Citizens of Ukraine can apply for a visa
online on the official website of the UK government. To do this, you will need to fill out an application form, pay the visa fee and make an appointment at the visa center to submit biometric data (fingerprints and photographs).
💡 You should apply for a visa 3 months before your trip.
Documents and information to be submitted
You must have a biometric passport (for applying for a visa online) or a regular passport (in which case the visa application must be submitted in person at a British visa application center in any country), valid for the duration of your stay in the UK. For a standard visa, your passport must have a blank page.
In your online application, you will need to provide the following information:
- the dates you plan to travel to the UK;
- where you will be staying during your visit;
- how much you think your trip will cost;
- your current home address and how long you have lived there;
- the names and dates of birth of your parents (if known);
- how much you earn per year (if you have an income);
- details of any criminal, civil or immigration offenses you may have committed;

Planning a trip to the UK can be a daunting task. Where to start? What is the first step to getting a visa? It's easy to get confused at first - especially if you've never done anything like this before.
That's why we recommend using
Visit World's travel guide - a detailed step-by-step guide to organizing your trip, which contains basic tips on visa application, border crossing, and much more. For more details, please

British visa centers accept documents for visas in Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, France, and other countries.
💡 Important: Citizens who do not have valid passports can also apply for a visa at a British visa center. In this case, it is necessary to explain the reason for the absence of a passport.
