This program allows applicants to join family members or continue their stay in the UK. Everyone must apply separately, even children traveling with a family member.
You can apply for free.

What is required to apply for the programme?
You need to:
- apply to join or accompany a family member living in the UK;
- be a Ukrainian or a family member of a citizen of Ukraine who applies to participate in the scheme to join the closest family member living in the UK;
- have lived in Ukraine directly until January 1, 2022 (even if you left Ukraine)

You can apply if you have already arrived in the UK and meet the above requirements.
If you are a citizen of Ukraine who had a temporary residence permit in the United Kingdom until March 18, 2022, you can apply for the Ukraine Extension Scheme. Your partner and children can also apply if they are already in the UK as your dependents.

If you previously had a residence permit in the UK, but it expired on January 1, 2022, you are also eligible to apply for the Ukraine Extension Scheme.

A member of your family living in the UK must be one of the following:
- a citizen of Great Britain;
- resides in the United Kingdom - for example, has an indefinite leave to remain, permanent residence status or proof of permanent residence;
- someone from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland who has pre-settlement status under the EU Settlement Scheme and started living in the UK before 1 January 2021;
- someone with refugee status or humanitarian protection in the UK.

A member of your family living in the UK must be one of the following:
- your closest family member
- civil partner, unmarried partner, child, father, fiancé (fiancée).
You must provide a copy of an official document proving your family relationship, such as a marriage or birth certificate.

You can still apply if you cannot provide these documents. You must explain why you cannot provide them when applying - for example, if you had to leave all your documents when you emigrated.
The Ukrainian sponsorship scheme allows Ukrainian citizens and their relatives to come to the UK if they have a sponsor who can provide them with housing for at least 6 months.
