Electronic queue for consular reception for Ukrainians: what it is and how it works
Citizens of Ukraine who are abroad can get consular services by signing up online. For example, for issuing a foreign passport, certification of documents, etc. Learn more about what e-queue is and how it works
Many Ukrainians currently live abroad and have to deal with the laws and regulations of other countries from scratch.
Many emigrants left the Motherland hastily, so they did not have the opportunity to resolve all issues with documents at home. This is precisely why there is a consular reception abroad.
How to sign up for a consular reception online and other nuances - further in the material.
Electronic queue for consular reception: what it is and why it is needed
The electronic queue for a consular appointment is an appointment for an appointment at the consulate, which is made in advance online. When registering, you choose a date and time when it will be convenient for you to visit the consulate and submit the necessary documents for the service you need: issuing a foreign passport, certifying your documents, etc.
The creation of an electronic queue was an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Such a system exists to significantly simplify the registration of services for Ukrainians abroad. The online system completely eliminates the need for the participation of intermediaries in the document processing, because the interaction takes place directly between the applicant and the consul.
How the electronic queue works and its advantages
Thanks to the electronic system, the procedure for registering for a consular reception takes only a few minutes. To make an appointment, you need to fill out a short form, as well as indicate a date and time convenient for you, after which the consulate will immediately receive and review your appointment.
It is noted that your personal data is not stored or shared with third parties.
You can register for a consular reception online every day. This service is completely free.
Pay attention! Consulates do not conduct business and do not cooperate with third parties in matters of service and appointment. Therefore, if you come across people who claim to be mediators between the applicant and the consulate in matters of document preparation, be sure that these people are not partners or employees of the embassy.
What do you need to know when visiting the consulate?
For the sake of security, only the person who is the applicant may be in the premises when receiving the services of the consulate. Exceptions are only situations involving citizens who need support due to health or other reasons.
Before visiting the consulate, check the availability of all the documents required to receive services. You can find the list of required documents on the official website of the chosen consulate.
Also on the website you will find information about the work schedule, consular fees, etc.
