In the conditions of martial law, migration legislation and rules for entering Ukraine have not changed. Both Ukrainians and foreigners have the right to enter the territory of the state, the main thing is to have the appropriate package of documents. The country's land borders are working normally, the only thing that complicates travel is the closed airspace.

Do citizens of Slovenia need a visa to enter Ukraine? A visa-free regime is established between the states, so in most cases, Slovenians will not need a visa to travel to Ukraine. With some exceptions, the details are in our material.

When will a citizen of Slovenia need to issue a visa to Ukraine?

A Slovenian citizen must obtain a visa if he plans to work or study in Ukraine or if the duration of the trip is more than 90 days.

The permit must be issued before the trip at the embassy or consulate of Ukraine located in Slovenia. It is better to apply for a long-term visa (type "D") three months before the planned trip to Ukraine.

After arriving in Ukraine on the basis of a long-term visa, a foreigner must obtain a residence permit.
