Restoring the tourism industry during the war
DART noted that before the full-scale invasion in 2021, state budget revenues for the first quarter amounted to UAH 629 million 135 thousand. This shows that the tourism industry has not only adapted to the difficult wartime conditions but is also actively developing.
Mariana Oleskiv, Head of DART, emphasized that tourism creates jobs and supports local communities, and taxes from this industry are an important part of the economy, which is now working to support the Ukrainian army.
