The share of Ukrainians planning a vacation in 2024 has more than doubled compared to 2023. According to Finance.ua, this is evidenced by the results of a Rakuten Viber survey in which more than 36 thousand users took part.

According to the survey, 45% of respondents believe that a vacation is not a priority in the current environment. However, it is worth noting that in 2023, the percentage of Ukrainians who shared this opinion was much higher, namely 68%.

We told you where to go in the summer in Ukraine and abroad earlier.

How many Ukrainians are planning a vacation in 2024?

The survey showed that 36% of Ukrainians plan to go on vacation in Ukraine and abroad with family or friends this year. In general, the answers to the question "Are you planning a vacation this year?" were as follows:

– No, I am not planning a vacation, as it is not the right time - 45%.

– I plan to take a vacation: we will spend time with family/friends in Ukraine - 25%.

– I plan to take a few days off during the year - 19%.

– I am planning a vacation, we want to go abroad - 11%.

It should be noted that compared to 2023, the number of Ukrainians planning a vacation has increased significantly. Last year:

– only 10% of respondents planned a vacation in Ukraine

– vacation abroad - only 6%;

– several days off during the year - 16%.

Remember: Rest and a change of activity is what helps our psyche to recover more easily and quickly from stressful periods and tensions. Even a short vacation or a vacation in the countryside will help you to restore your strength and inner resources. Unfortunately, for three years now, Ukrainians have been forced to constantly adapt and take on new challenges almost every day. However, everyone must take care of their morale and the well-being of their families. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you do not neglect your mental health and allow yourself at least a few days of rest.
