A hike to the Blue Lagoon in Zakarpattia will open up a paradise on Earth for you. A dense forest, steep mountain slopes, cliffs, mossy stones and trees, and a fast-moving mountain river. In addition, polished huge white stones are scattered along the banks. This is the picturesque nature of the Carpathians that awaits you on a hiking tour to the Blue Lagoon.

- 09.00 - Departure from Uzhhorod
- Moving to the village of Chornoholova.
- Visit to a wooden church of the XVII century.
- Hike to the mountain lagoon - you will cover about 15 km in a day! The road lies along the mountain river Lyutyanka, tightly compressed on both sides by the soles of mountain ranges. However, the rise in the road is almost imperceptible.
- On the way, there is the Stanychnyi tract - a real paradise surrounded by steep mountain slopes! We will arrange a small halt here.
- After having a snack and gaining strength, we move to the river lagoon.
- In some places, you will find single rails sticking out of the ground, as a narrow-gauge railroad once ran along the river, "carrying a cartload of brushwood" from these inaccessible places.
- The reward for the journey will be 2 things: the mountain lagoon itself, with turquoise and unexpectedly deep water (up to 3 meters), and stones of bizarre shapes polished over thousands of years. You look - and it's not a stone, but waves frozen in stone! An amazing phenomenon!
- A picnic, tea made from mountain herbs, and unique photos as a souvenir.
- Now you are definitely in love with the Carpathians!
- Return to Uzhhorod at about 18:00
You need to take it on a hike:
- comfortable shoes (for example, trekking sandals, sneakers, boots);
- a hat (sun protection);
- raincoat (in case of rain, the weather is changeable in the mountains);
- sandwiches (for lunch by the lagoon);
- water (you can take an empty bottle and collect water from a spring on the way);
- great mood!!! - definitely!!!
A hike to the Blue Lagoon will appeal to lovers of wild, photogenic nature. After all, there are simply incredible landscapes, fresh air, almost complete absence of crowds of tourists and the opportunity to take cool photos with the scenery of a paradise surrounded by the beautiful Carpathians.
