Starting from the Ivan Franko monument - Drama Theater - Nezalezhnosti Street, Bassa's house - Vicheva Square - Cathedral - Sheptytsky Square - Bastion - Nyzova Street - Town Hall - Armenian Church - Monument on the Vals - Potocki Palace - Synagogue - Philharmonic - Mickiewicz Square - Sokil Society - Nezalezhnosti Street.
The introduction to Ivano-Frankivsk begins with the largest monument to Ivan Franko, located near the Nadiya Hotel. The Ivan Franko Drama Theater (designed by D. Sosnovy, artists V. Vilshuky, V. Shevchuk, and carpenter M. Ovchar received the Shevchenko Prize for the interior made in the Hutsul style), the central Rynok Square with its decoration and the highest point of the city, the Town Hall. A walk along the pedestrianized Nezalezhnist Street, where colorful cafes and restaurants are located. Vicheva Square with the largest fountain in the city, the Central Building of the Medical Academy built in eclectic style with a courtyard, a cozy and small square with a monument to Adam Mickiewicz, a place where chess lovers often gather, and the only monument to the Russian Trinity in Ukraine. The fortress lane "Bastion" deserves special attention, where you can see exhibitions of forged products or paintings, buy interesting souvenirs, and see how the glorious city of Stanislaviv was built according to the project of the famous Italian Francois Corassini. Many wrought iron sculptures decorate the city and remind us of the international blacksmith festivals that take place every year. During the tour, you will visit the temples, the Cathedral of the Holy Resurrection, the decoration of which is a five-tiered iconostasis, the Armenian Church, the synagogue.
