How much do international train tickets cost from Ukraine?

The cost of tickets for international flights of Ukrzaliznytsia depends on several factors: direction, class of carriage (seated, compartment, SV), date of travel, demand and exchange rate, since some of the fares are tied to the euro.

On average, prices for popular destinations look like this:

- Ukraine - Poland (Przemysl, Chełm, Warsaw): from 700 to 2,500 UAH per seat (seated seats are cheaper, compartment seats are more expensive).

- Ukraine - Hungary (Budapest): approximately 1,200 - 3,500 UAH.

- Ukraine – Austria (Vienna): from 2,000 to 4,500 UAH, depending on the type of car and transfers.

- Ukraine – Czech Republic (Prague): on average 2,000 – 4,000 UAH (often with a transfer in Poland).

- Ukraine – Slovakia (Kosice, Bratislava): approximately 1,000 – 3,000 UAH.

- Ukraine – Moldova (Chisinau): from 800 to 1,800 UAH.

- Ukraine – Romania (Bucharest): approximately 1,500 – 3,500 UAH.

It is worth considering that on flights with transfers the price is formed separately for each segment of the route, so the total cost may be higher.

Dynamic pricing also applies: the earlier you buy a ticket, the cheaper it can be. During periods of high demand (holidays, summer, weekends) prices usually increase.

It is most profitable to plan your trip in advance and track ticket availability immediately after sales open.
