The modern aviation industry is developing rapidly, and key airlines are striving to meet the growing needs of passengers. In recent months, several well-known airlines have introduced new and interesting services that will make traveling even more comfortable and convenient.

One of the main trends in air travel is ease of travel, but due to the huge competition in the airline industry, companies are trying to compete and offer passengers something new.

Air France launches luggage delivery

The French company has allowed its passengers not to take their luggage to the airport when departing from Paris, but to hand it over directly in the French capital or its suburbs, Avianews reports.

This can be done between 30 and 4 hours before the scheduled departure of the plane.

Where is the service available and how much does it cost?

So far, the service is available in five hotels in Paris and major exhibition centers, but the airline is working to ensure that luggage can be dropped off at home.

This service is available to passengers departing from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The company will later expand this service to Paris Orly Airport.

It is worth noting that the service of remote check-in of suitcases for a flight is paid. It costs 25 euros for one suitcase and 35 euros for two.

How does it work?

Air France is testing the startup. Alltheway employees pick up items from locations in Paris and the suburbs and take them to check-in counters at the airport.

Before being loaded onto the plane, the luggage is thoroughly checked at every stage of transportation, Air France says.

Passengers who drop off their suitcases in the city will be able to track the location of their belongings through the airline's mobile app.

Swiss airline introduces the Internet in airplanes

Swiss International Air Lines will make Internet access on the plane free for all passengers starting from August 2, 2023.

The service will be launched on the airline's long-haul aircraft.

During the free access, travelers will be able to receive and send text and image messages via popular messengers such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram. To do this, you need to connect to the Wi-Fi network on board the aircraft, which provides communication.

However, to use websites and watch videos, passengers will have to pay for an unlimited service package. 4 hours of access will cost 25 Swiss francs ($29), and a package for the entire flight will cost 35 Swiss francs ($40).

For paid packages, there will be a restriction only on viewing video streaming services. This is to ensure that all passengers on board can access the Internet at an adequate speed.

It is worth noting that Swiss is not the first airline to offer passengers free in-flight internet access packages. Since the beginning of 2023, Air Canada, Turkish Airlines, Emirates, and Korean Air have started providing such services.

Frontier Airlines will start selling a new travel ticket

Frontier Airlines has launched a monthly version of its new GoWild travel pass! The pass will allow travelers to book as many flights as they choose during the pass validity period.

The monthly pass will cost passengers $149. The pass will be valid for 30 days.

As you know, the company also sells an autumn-winter pass, which allows unlimited travel from September 2 to February 29, 2024, for $299.

The GoWild! The pass can be used to fly to any destination served by Frontier, domestically or internationally, and allows unlimited flights during the 30-day pass period. Passengers are not exempt from making other purchases at the time of booking. Any additional services, such as baggage or seats, taxes and fees, will still apply when booking a flight.

Travelers using a pass can only book a flight if there is availability.

The Monthly Pass is an ideal option for frequent travelers and those traveling on a budget.

We remind you! Ryanair may resume flights to Ukraine by the end of 2023. Under what conditions will the skies over the country be opened and where will the first planes from Ukraine fly to, we tell you here.
