It is possible to get from Prague to Kyiv and back by rail, but the train between the capitals requires a change of train in Przemysl, Poland. For the convenience of passengers, the Czech railway operator Ceske Drahy has introduced the sale of single tickets, which allows you to travel the entire route from the Czech Republic to Ukraine by purchasing just one ticket. It should be noted that the cost of a single ticket is cheaper than the cost of buying two separate tickets.

Earlier, the Czech company Regiojet also introduced single tickets from Prague to a number of Ukrainian cities. In particular, to Poltava, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and back.

What you need to know about the peculiarities of buying a single train ticket and how much it costs to travel from Prague to Ukraine now is described in the article below.

Train Prague - Ukraine: which cities can I buy a single ticket to?

You can buy a single ticket only from the Czech Republic to Ukraine, on the return route passengers need to buy separate tickets (from Ukraine to the Polish city of Przemyśl and from Przemyśl to the desired city in the Czech Republic). Seats in 1st and 2nd class cars are available for passengers.

At the same time, a single ticket can be purchased to any city through which the train route runs. That is, from the cities of the Czech Republic through which the train travels (Prague, Pardubice, Olomouc, Ostrava, Bohumín) and to the cities of Ukraine (Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Kyiv).

How to buy a single ticket?

You can book a single ticket from the Czech Republic to Ukraine on the website of the carrier Ceske Drahy or through the special My Train application.

Please note! Ticket sales are not available less than three days before the train departure. That is, passengers need to book a ticket for the desired date in advance. In addition, the ticket must be printed before boarding the train.
