Ukrainian soldiers performing tasks on the contact line with the enemy will receive additional payments of UAH 70,000. We will tell you when they will start and how this system of allowances will work.

As noted, payments may be made as early as this month. This is not a replacement for 100,000 combat pay, but an additional reward for those on the frontline.

Who is eligible for the additional payments?

Members of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Intelligence Service, the State Border Guard Service, the Special Communications Service, the State Special Transport Service, and police officers can receive the additional payment. This payment is intended for those who are directly on the contact line with the enemy.

It can be received by those who perform combat or special tasks in the first echelon of defence or offensive at a distance of up to and including a company stronghold. It is also available to those who perform combat missions between the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and the aggressor, in the occupied territories of the russian federation, as well as in the enemy's territory.

Starting from 1 May, the military will be able to receive payments of over UAH 190,000:

- cash support, which depends on the rank, position and length of service (minimum UAH 20,100);

- UAH 100 thousand of "combat" allowance;,

- UAH 70 thousand of remuneration.

How will the allowance be calculated?

According to ArmyInform, while the "combat" allowance is paid monthly, and the amount of payment depends on the number of days during which the tasks were performed, the wording in the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution is different for the payment of 70 thousand: "for every 30 days (calculated in total) of performing such tasks".

That is, this payment is not tied to a specific month, and it should be paid when the total of 30 days of tasks is completed.

We remind you! In mid-May, Ukrainians will be able to use the new electronic cabinet of persons liable for military service to update their information, which will allow them to avoid going to the military registration and enlistment office. To learn how to use the e-cabinet, please follow the link.
