‘Ukrposhta is considering opening a branch in the town of Suja in Kursk Region, which was liberated by Ukrainian troops. However, the government will make the final decision. Find out under what conditions the company can start operating in the liberated territory of russia
Ukrainian state-run postal operator Ukrposhta may open a branch in the town of Suja in russia's Kursk Region of russia, which has come under the control of the Ukrainian military as part of the ongoing offensive.
The director-general of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilyanskyy, said in a statement Ihor Smilyanskyy in comments to Interfax-Ukraine, the company is considering using frozen russian funds to operate in the liberated territories.
Under what conditions will the company open a branch in Suzha?
The company is ready to start work in this region, but for this it is necessary to fulfil several important conditions. First of all, Ukrposhta has a requirement to ensure the safety of its employees and customers in the region.
Although it is impossible to guarantee 100% safety today, the company is striving to achieve an acceptable level of risk. This is an important factor for stable work and protection of employees from possible threats.

In addition, the company needs to secure the necessary financial resources. The frozen assets of the russian federation can be used to finance work in the liberated territories. This will allow Ukrposhta not only to pay pensions and social assistance, but also to ensure the delivery of parcels to the military.
To expand its services in Kursk region, Ukrposhta is considering the possibility of using mobile offices adapted to the needs of the region. It is proposed to create a new type of mobile offices, for example, on the basis of Cossack-type vehicles. This will help to ensure reliable and fast delivery of parcels to the most remote corners of the region.
The decision to launch the work of Ukrposhta in Kursk region will be taken by the Headquarters for work in the liberated territories under the Cabinet of Ministers. After the relevant decision all the mechanisms of opening will be launched, and the company will be able to start its work in the new territories.
We remind you! A new front has formed on the Ukrainian-russian border. The main battles have intensified in the Kursk region of russia. What is happening in the border area and why the new attack on russia looks like a serious operation of Ukraine, we tell you here.
