Ukraine has further simplified the process of mobilisation to the Army of Drones. Now, joining the ranks of these troops will be more accessible and faster.

What have you introduced?

The essence of the innovation is that from now on, any citizen can choose a unit and speciality through the Diia app without visiting military registration and enlistment offices or undergoing complex medical examinations. The entire process - from selection to application - takes place in a few clicks on a smartphone.

How does recruitment through Diia work?

The recruitment process through the app includes several simple steps:

1. Users need to update Diia to the latest version.

2. In the Services section, a new area has been added - ‘Join the Drone Army’. Here, everyone can choose a unit and a specific role.

3. After choosing a direction and a unit, an application is sent, which will be reviewed and, if approved, the candidate will be invited for an interview.

One of the key advantages is the ability to choose a military unit and direction, making reassignment impossible. This allows everyone to find a job that suits their skills and interests, whether as a drone operator or a maintenance specialist.

What jobs are available?

There are different positions available in the Army of Drones that are suitable for people with different skills:

Drone operators: These can be FPV drones, strike or reconnaissance drones, as well as night bombers.

Ground specialists: Vacancies include engineers, technicians, drone repair and maintenance specialists.

After applying through the application, the candidate will be invited to an interview. Upon successful completion of the interview, a contract will be signed, after which the recruit will be sent for training.

We remind you! Ukraine has opened the first recruitment centre in Poland for the Ukrainian Legion. Find out where it is located, how to become a part of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and what benefits await volunteers here.
