In 2025, the National Multisubject Test (NMT) will be available not only in Ukraine but also in many countries around the world. This is an important decision that allows Ukrainian youth temporarily residing abroad to exercise their right to enter domestic higher education institutions.

NMT abroad: what you need to know

NMT-2025 outside of Ukraine will be held on the same principles as in Ukraine - in temporary examination centers (TECs) established in cooperation with foreign partners, with the involvement of Ukrainian-speaking teachers trained by the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UCEQA).

Initially, it was planned that such centers would appear in 54 cities in 32 countries, but this list was later expanded.

Countries where the main session of the NMT-2025 will take place

At the time of the list's publication, the main session of the NMT is scheduled to be held in the following countries:

Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the United States.

The full list of cities where CHP plants will be established is contained in the annex to the relevant order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

New locations for NMT-2025

Recently, the UCEQA announced the expansion of the geography of testing:

In Turkey, a center will be established in Istanbul.

In the United States, an additional NMT session is planned for Chicago.

Additional sessions will also be held in some countries, including: Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, and the United Kingdom. Please note that some cities will be available only during the additional sessions.

Restrictions on the number of participants

Despite the expansion of the list of countries and cities, there are restrictions on the number of participants who can take the NMT abroad. They are related to the technical capabilities of foreign centers.

If the number of places in a particular city is exhausted, it will be impossible to choose it for the NMT.

As of March 19, 2025, there are no free places left for participation in the NMT in the following cities:

Vienna (Austria);

Dusseldorf, Cologne (Germany);

Lublin (Poland);

Bucharest (Romania);

Prague (Czech Republic).

Possibility to change the testing city

The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assurance reminds that until April 8, 2025, participants can change their registration data in their account if a new location closer to their place of residence has appeared.

One of the main challenges for Ukrainian families abroad is adapting their child to the new education system without losing contact with the Ukrainian program. It is important to understand how to combine studying at a local school and distance learning in Ukraine, what rights your child has, and how to legalize documents. A consultation with an educational lawyer will help you find the best solution for you.

We remind you!
 The educational results of Ukrainian children abroad will be officially recognised. The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a draft law that will simplify the procedure for crediting the acquired knowledge and facilitate the return of children to the national education system.
