In February 2026, Ukrainians were actively expanding their vehicle fleets with imported used cars. According to data from Ukravtoprom, over 14,800 used passenger cars were imported into Ukraine in just one month, of which more than 2,900 were cars less than five years old.
Thus, nearly one in five imported cars belongs to the relatively “new” segment, indicating stable demand for newer used cars.

What types of engines do Ukrainians choose?
Gasoline-powered cars dominate the imported vehicle market, accounting for 55% of the market.
The other segments break down as follows:
● hybrid cars — 21%;
● electric cars — 17%;
● diesel cars — 6%;
● cars with LPG equipment — 1%.
These figures demonstrate a gradual shift in the market: the share of electric cars and hybrids is growing, although gasoline models remain dominant.
