The labor market in Ukraine: in which areas are the highest salaries
At the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the labor market suffered greatly: companies stopped working, people lost their jobs and earnings. At the same time, two-thirds of professional fields in Ukraine either kept salaries at the previous level or increased salaries in open vacancies. The HR portal grc.ua conducted a corresponding study in September.
According to the results of the study, the top 5 areas with the highest average salary include:
1. IT sphere and top management
2. Scope of purchases
3. Consulting
4. Mass media
5. Art
At the same time, a drop in salaries was recorded in the highest paid fields.
Thus, in the IT sphere, they decreased by 0.75%, to UAH 92.1 thousand. The salaries of top management were reduced even more - by 40.6%, to 48.3 thousand hryvnias. Consulting at the beginning of September reduced salaries by 50.6%, to UAH 28.8 thousand.
Also, a decrease in the average level of salaries is observed in the fields of construction, marketing, accounting, logistics, sports and beauty business.
The greatest increase in salaries was observed among administrative staff (by 49%, up to UAH 25.9 thousand), auto business workers (by 40%, up to UAH 21.3 thousand), in the field of personnel management (by 30-35%, up to 27 , 1 thousand hryvnias).
In the field of art, entertainment and mass media, salaries increased from 20.9 thousand to 27.7 thousand UAH, in the field of extraction of raw materials (from 17.4 thousand to 23 thousand UAH), in the field of domestic staff (from 8 .8 thousand to 11.5 thousand UAH).
Areas with the lowest salary
As for the lowest salaries, the list of these areas did not change in September, although average salaries increased by 18-31%.
The lowest salary is offered to students and specialists without work experience - UAH 10.7 thousand (+19%), domestic staff, security guards - UAH 14.8 thousand (+21%), working professions - UAH 15.5 thousand (+ 18%).
Salespeople, cashiers, store administrators, and sales managers are the most in-demand employees, but their average salary is one of the lowest in the market. In September, their salaries increased slightly - from UAH 16.9 thousand to UAH 17 thousand.
