Applications for Dobry Start financial aid for schoolchildren start in Poland: how to receive payment
Since the beginning of August, Ukrainians have been able to apply for the "300+" (Dobry Start) allowance for children. Find out more about how to apply for the benefit
From July 1 until the end of November 2023, Ukrainians have the opportunity to apply for assistance under the Dobry start program ("300+").
As you know, the "Dobry start" program is a payment of PLN 300, which parents of schoolchildren receive once a year to purchase school supplies and prepare for the new school year.
Who is eligible for the assistance?
An application for assistance can be submitted by
• the child's parents;
• the mother;
• legal guardian;
• a de facto guardian who has received permission from a Polish court and is taking care of the child.
Adult children who are studying and are dependent on their parents are also eligible for the allowance.
Families with children aged 7 to 20 years and families with children with disabilities aged 7 to 24 years are eligible to receive the allowance.
However, students, children attending kindergartens or undergoing one-year school preparations are not eligible.
Please note! The funds received can be used to purchase clothes for children for the school year, stationery and necessary school supplies, such as textbooks, notebooks, pencil cases, colored pencils, etc.

How can Ukrainians receive a payment under the Dobry start program?
The application can be submitted online via:
• via electronic banking;
• the mZUS;
• PUE ZUS.
The funds received will be credited to the applicant's bank account.
