Weekend in the Carpathians

It is the place where Polish border guards shot about 600 captured defenders of Carpathian Ukraine, natives of Galicia, in 1939. The pass is also considered important for Hungarians because, according to chronicles, the Hungarian tribes headed by Prince Almosh crossed to Europe through the Veretskyi pass in 895 and settled in Pannonia.

There is the largest farm in Eastern Europe, the eco-farm "Plai". It is located among the picturesque Beskids, on the site of the former German colony Karlsdorf. The eco-farm "Plai" was founded by the Vatagovych family from Boykiv. We invite you to visit the farm, which has Australian buffaloes, Simmental cows, Alpine and Pen goats. They process milk at their cheese factory, which is equipped with modern equipment for the production of cheese. We offer you to taste cheeses, cow Gouda, goat Gouda with additives, buffalo mozzarella and buffalo burrata.

The "Plai" complex is located in the middle of the Carpathian mountains on the southeastern slope of the Dovzhka ridge. There are chair lifts, the length of the longest chair lift is 1,200 m. There is a charming view of the picturesque mountains from the top. There is an opportunity to relax in the relaxation zone of the complex and swim in two open-air pools. The first is 1.5 m deep and 30 m long. The second pool is divided into age and thematic sectors, the depth of which ranges from 40 cm (children's sector) to 5 m (sports sector). Around the pools, there are deckchairs, where you can relax, sunbathe and admire the Carpathian panoramas.
