Ukrzaliznytsia launches new trains from Kharkiv: schedule

Ukrzaliznytsia plans to introduce new trains, including the Kharkiv-Vorokhta and Kharkiv-Dnipro trains. The new trains will provide convenient routes for passengers traveling both short and long distances. Find out more about the timetables and how the trains will run

"Ukrzaliznytsia" is introducing new trains to facilitate travel between Ukrainian cities. In particular, the company will soon launch trains that will connect key cities in the east, including the Kharkiv to Vorokhta train.


Here's a look at the schedule of the new trains and route details.


New night train Kharkiv - Dnipro: how it will run


UZ is introducing a new night train №295/296 connecting Kharkiv and Dnipro, providing a convenient alternative for traveling between these cities.


According to the carrier's press service, the train will depart from Kharkiv on even-numbered days at 23:40 and arrive in Dnipro at 05:05 the next morning. In the opposite direction, from Dnipro, the train will depart on odd numbers also at 23:40 and arrive in Kharkiv at 05:05 the next day.


The route will include stops at Merefa, Likhacheve, Lozova, Pavlohrad, and Synelnykove-2 stations, and the train will include cars of different categories: reserved seats, compartments, and suites.


The first trip is scheduled for March 2 from Kharkiv and March 3 from Dnipro.

New train  №201/202 Kharkiv - Vorokhta: details


Ukrzaliznytsia has also announced the launch of an additional train №201/202 Kharkiv - Vorokhta, which will start running from Kharkiv on February 23 and from Vorokhta on February 24.


The train will depart from Kharkiv at 18:55 and stop in Ivano-Frankivsk at 11:28-11:48, in Yaremche at 13:10-13:12, at Tatariv-Bukovel station at 13:50-13:55, arriving in Vorokhta at 14:09. 


In the opposite direction, from Vorokhta, train №201/202 will depart at 16:29, stopping at Tatariv-Bukovel station at 16:39-16:42, in Yaremche at 17:07-17:10, in Ivano-Frankivsk at 18:25-19:49, arriving in Kharkiv at 12:33 the next day.


It is noted that stops are also provided at Lviv, Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi, Myrhorod, and Poltava-Kyivska stations.


The train will run every other day, with compartment and luxury cars.
