Experts at hoppa have identified the sunniest beaches in Europe with the least amount of summer rainfall. Find out which resorts in Cyprus, Greece, Spain, and Portugal made the top 10 and where summer sunshine is practically guaranteed
Summer in many European countries, including Ukraine, began with rain and storms. Against this backdrop, many tourists have started thinking about vacationing in places where sunny weather isn’t a rarity but the norm. As it turns out, such places are right nearby — in Europe.
The Mirror cites a study by experts from the hoppa transfer service, who analyzed dozens of coastal destinations across the continent and identified the beaches with the least amount of summer rainfall. The selection criterion was the average rainfall during the summer months.

Top of the list: Nissi Beach in Cyprus with zero rainfall
First place in the ranking went to Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. The average rainfall here during the summer months is 0 mm. The beach is known for its crystal-clear turquoise water and snow-white sand and is considered one of the most beautiful on the entire island.
Tourists leave rave reviews on Tripadvisor. “Nissi Beach simply blew us away. The water here is turquoise and completely clear, and the sand is so soft that it’s hard to believe such a place exists,” wrote one visitor. She also noted a small islet located near the shore, which can be reached on foot through the shallow water — the children were particularly excited about this. Another traveler compared the beach to the Caribbean.

Rhodes took two spots in the top 3
Second and third places went to the Greek island of Rhodes.
Faliraki Beach (second place) — a resort with warm water, golden sand, and a lively atmosphere. Summer rainfall here is also 0 mm. The beach is well-suited for family vacations: those who enjoy active leisure can try paragliding or banana boat rides, and there’s a separate water park nearby for children.
St. Paul’s Bay near Lindos (third place) — a picturesque cove with clear and calm waters, ideal for swimming. The beach is located below the historic village of Lindos and offers stunning views. Summer rainfall is 0 mm.
