If you still have unused funds from the “Winter 1000” program on your card, it’s time to act. The national cashback is valid through June 30, 2026. Starting in July, any unused balance will automatically be returned to the state budget. The “Diya” press service reminded users of this on its Telegram channel.

What can you spend the Winter 1000 on?

Funds from the program can be used for very specific purposes — all of which are related to supporting Ukrainian manufacturers, the social sector, and the country’s defense capabilities:

● payment of utility bills — gas, electricity, water, etc.;

● Ukrainian-made medicines — only domestically produced pharmaceutical products;

● books from Ukrainian publishers — to support culture and education;

● food and goods from Ukrainian manufacturers — at the program’s partner stores;

● postal services — through the Ukrposhta network;

● support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces — donations made through the program.

It is important to remember that the funds are intended exclusively for expenses within this list and cannot be withdrawn as cash or used to purchase goods outside the program.

How do I check my balance?

You can check your remaining balance directly through the “Diya” app or through an authorized bank that services your program participant card.

We remind you! Some Ukrainian pensioners must undergo mandatory in-person identification by the end of the year. Otherwise, payments may be temporarily suspended. Read who this requirement applies to and how to avoid pension-related issues.
