A new large-scale international rail route, which will be especially important for Ukrainian travelers, will start in Europe this week.
Private Czech carrier Leo Express will launch a daily flight between Przemysl, Poland, and Frankfurt am Main from June 25, 2026, The Independent reports. It is already called one of the longest direct passenger rail flights in Europe, as the train passes through 3 countries, and the length of the route exceeds 1,300 kilometers.
For Ukrainians, the Przemysl - Frankfurt train will be of particular importance, as Przemysl has been one of the main transport hubs for travel from Ukraine to EU countries for several years. On the new train, you will be able to get to the cities of Western Europe without transfers, as well as travel to any corner of the world from the largest German airport.
