Conducting press tours and professional support for journalists, influencers and official delegations in Lviv, Chernihiv, Kyiv and cities of Kyiv region. Learn more in this article
Ukraine continues to defend European values and the civilized world from the savage "barbarian", fighting for its freedom and giving a worthy rebuff to the occupier - russian troops.
The history of Europe is being written right now on Ukrainian soil, so Visit Ukraine invites journalists, representatives of official delegations, diplomatic missions as well as opinion leaders to experience a strong and courageous Ukraine. Our team has designed six press tours accompanied by a professional English-speaking guide.
Escort to the de-occupied cities of Kyiv region (Romanivka, Bucha, Irpin, Gostomel, Borodyanka). The hero-cities that were the first to meet the russian occupant in February 2022. It was here that the most tragic events of the first months of the war unfolded.
The itinerary is agreed upon individually and includes a visit:
• The "road of life" for Ukrainian civilians as they tried to escape from the occupied territories;
• the graveyard of russian military equipment;
• destroyed infrastructure;
• blown up bridges;
• Yablunska Street in Bucha - the whole world saw the horrific footage that went down in history as the "Buchan massacre".
Kyiv invincible - a walking tour or car tour of Ukraine's capital city. Kyiv was the main target of the russian occupiers, who planned to take it "in three days". However, the professionalism of the AFU and the courage of the territorial defence prevented the enemy's plans from materialising. In every district of the city, missiles destroyed residential buildings, commercial real estate or infrastructure. Despite the fierce fighting, city authorities and volunteers promptly resorted to protecting sculptures and monuments, architectural structures that have great historical and cultural significance for the planet, as Kyiv's history stretches back to the time of chronicles and the Principality.
Kyiv and escort through the de-occupied cities of the Kyiv region includes the programme of the two previous tours.
Accompany you to Chernihiv, a Ukrainian city with a rich history, through which the russian invasion route passed. A local English-speaking guide will introduce you to the city's history, iconic sites and modern Chernihiv. The itinerary of the tour is agreed upon individually.
Accompanying you through the de-occupied cities of the Kyiv region and Chernihiv is a large four-day tour that includes a programme of two tours.
Discover Lviv - it's a museum city, the architectural jewel of Ukraine, and the city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the tour, visitors will stroll through the narrow streets of Lviv, taste the aromatic Lviv coffee, get a taste of Lviv life, appreciate the architectural heritage of past generations and visit churches of different faiths.
Each press tour includes support from a travel manager, advice on entering Ukraine (how to get there, border crossing rules), guidance on safety rules, assistance in setting up an air-raid alert app, map of bomb shelters, transport along the route.
Important: Only journalists, representatives of official delegations and diplomatic missions, as well as Influencers, may take part in a press tour. Visiting the de-occupied territories implies a number of strict rules, in particular a ban on photographing and videotaping military facilities, communication with military personnel and deviation from the agreed and approved itinerary.
All profits from press tours are donated to Ukraine's reconstruction.
