Curfew and air alert

Under the conditions of martial law, a curfew is in effect throughout Ukraine - it is a time when it is forbidden to be on the street and in public places. Before visiting any region of Ukraine, be sure to find out the duration of the curfew.

In no case should you ignore air alarms, because it is your safety! After arriving at your place of residence in Ukraine, immediately find out the location of the nearest shelters. Install the "Airborne Alert" application on your smartphone, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play. If danger is declared, go to the nearest shelter immediately.

Also, during your stay in Ukraine, you should take into account the peculiarities of calling a taxi during the curfew and the air alert.

For a trip to Ukraine under martial law, it is important to have reliable insurance. Currently, there are few insurance companies that cover insurance incidents related to combat and war. You can take out a reliable policy that covers compensation related to military risks by following the link.

Term of stay in Ukraine

The permitted period of stay of foreigners in Ukraine depends on citizenship. Visa-free allows a foreigner to stay in the country for up to 90 days within 180 days. With the visa procedure, the visa itself determines the number of days of stay in Ukraine. Usually, the term is also 90 days, but it can be different. To stay longer, you need to issue a residence permit.

After obtaining a permit, you do not need to carry plastic cards with you all the time. Foreigners can issue electronic permits for permanent residence or temporary residence, visa or residency in the Diya mobile application.
