Tour program
1 day: Bukovyen meadow - Mount Makovytsia (1161 m) - Mount Kostrycha (1585 m)
At 08:00 the group gathers at the central station in Yaremche. From here we go by bus/car to the starting point of the Kryvopil pass. The first mountain meadow will meet us at an altitude of 1050 meters from the pass - Bukoven. There is a cheese factory and a shop here. Next is the incredible Vesnarka meadow at an altitude of 1350 meters. Along a winding path we climb to the ridge and the highest point of our hike, Mount Kostrychna (1585 meters). Kostrycha is a kingdom of crocuses in spring, blueberries and raspberries in summer, and mushrooms in autumn. It is here that we will see the first fabulous landscapes after leaving the incredible Carpathian forest. Admiring the views of Chornohora, we will walk to the Vesnarka meadow. Here we will set up camp, make a fire and prepare a camping dinner.
Day 2: Vesnarka meadow - Zavoila checkpoint
We wake up to a hiking breakfast and morning coffee with a taste of the mountains! We pack up the camp and set off along the ridge, along a winding path through spruce forests to the Prut River valley. We go down to civilization, where a transfer is waiting for us.
Additionally, on our website you can purchase travel insurance.
